We’re off to a very promising start, generating 11% of the goal right away this morning, and we’re just warming up! We have the Introductory Rulebook posted to RPGNow & DriveThruRPG as well as our own page, generating 30 downloads on RPGN & DTRPG since last night and doubling our downloads on our own page! We’ve added 8 new viewers to the Facebook page and I see FT banners online, links shared by friends…its all good!

You might notice a new link up top; that would be for the new Downloads page! Here we’re going to post downloadable goodies such as the first of the new demo packets!

Two packs are posted now, along with the new rulesbook announced earlier this week. This will give you a feel for the game and a chance to check out the new things we’re doing with the cards. Shortly we hope to get these online with RPGNow and Paizo so get a little more attention on them, then it’s on to the Kickstarter program to get this puppy wrapped up and in your hands!

That’ s right! A new edition of the Introductory Final Twilight Rulebook is wrapped up! Based on the feedback from the first book, some changes have been made to better round out the assortment and information.

This is intended as an introduction, a pack-in with the two player kit and for distribution online with introductory demo packets. Is it a complete, be-all-to-end-all rulebook? Not quite; like a number of card games the full rules can be a bit dense. We want to get people playing, though, and this packet is a great avenue to do so!

The first step in the Kickstarter project is done: we’re approved! I’m writing up the details now, hope to have it go live in about two weeks. A good friend is going to help with some filming and video editing so we can put up a sweet video clip and showcase the gameplay as well as some fun with me rambling!

The rewards are ultimately simple, most levels allow you to pre-order the items you want. All levels $10+ include a special Chessex die, engraved with the FT initials or maybe even the knot, we’re working on that option right now, and all pre-ordered product comes signed by yours truly. Some larger contributions put you IN the world of Final Twilight! We have a couple of Location cards, a Library and a Museum, that need naming and will carry the name of the kind benefactor who sponsors them, and we have a handful of Citizen cards which could carry your likeness if you were so inclined! We have some other, neat, options up too for you to check out, but that will have to wait just a little bit! Keep checking back for more!

Got the retailer and event locator online and operational! Its still kind of rough, but more functions and abilities will be added slowly but surely! As will the ability to add retail locations and for event organizers to setup and register their own events!
